“A lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful countryside”
| + Sadly we only stayed here for one night, but could easily have stayed much longer. It was so nice to be greeted by Mark, the owner, as well as by Oscar his butter-loving Labrador. We were shown to our room, which was airy and immaculate, as was the modern bathroom. A lot of care had obviously been taken to see that the décor was all in keeping with the house itself and it was good to see all the little touches - 2 bottles of water, and a full tea-making tray. The bed was very comfortable and we spent a good, if too short, night. Mark had asked us what time we wanted breakfast, and as we were at a wedding and had no idea how long we would be staying at the reception, we rashly said 9 am. Luckily, he saw through our optimism and we came down at 10 and were by no means the last to arrive. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread and croissants, cold meat and cheese, as well as cereals and yoghurt and fruit juice. We could have also had eggs had we wanted. All in all, a very pleasant stay, if too short, and I would recommend the Chateau de Launay with no reservations. Room Tip: Any of the rooms would be a good choice. Ours faced out over the entrance.

“Perfect”
| In 1 woord perfect! Mooi gelegen B&B, centraal gelegen in Normandië, mooie kamers, super schoon, inrichting klopt, fijn verwarmd zwembad on de ruin, heerlijk ontbijt, alles goed verzorgd, super lieve eigenaren Mark en Valerie en schattige hond. We gaan het missen!

“Elegant and Comfortable!”
| We spent two nights here in July---our Host, Mark, made us welcome and comfortable in his elegant home.Oscar, the Labrador, was a friendly, well mannered companion. Our room was on the third floor of this quite, tranquil and elegant B and B.The room was comfortable and although not large, nicely appointed. The situation in the countryside was peaceful and quite, and the breakfasts excellent.I would not hesitate to recommend Chateau de Launay as a lovely place to stay.

“séjour très agréable”
| Belle demeure au calme; chambre parfaite avec une jolie salle d'eau. Très au calme. L'accès se fait par un long chemin qui lui est en terre donc il faut y aller doucement pour les amortisseurs de la voiture car il y a beaucoup de trous ! Le petit déjeuner est parfait et notre hôte très gentil. Je conseille le restaurant du lion d'or recommandé par beaucoup de guide pour son "fait maison". prix très abordable du menu complet.

« Wonderful overnight stay »
| This is a beautiful tastefully restored chateau. The room was lovely which had recently been renovated. The shower and wash area had all you needed. The host was extremely helpful giving us update information regarding the fuel situation. Breakfast was very good too.

| + Mark onze gastheer is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam zeker met het zoeken van alternatieve routes en tankstations gedurende de blokkades en stakingen. Ook Oscar is een lieve Labrador. Mark heeft zijn zaakjes goed op orde en deze locatie en mensen is uw bezoek meeeeeeer dan waard!

| Diese Unterkunft ist einfach traumhaft!!! Die Lage mitten in der Natur ist wunderschön, genau so wie das Schloss. Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und alles ist mit liebe dekoriert. Die Inhaber sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und der Hund Oskar ist total süß! Das Frühstück ist excellent: nur frische und hochqualitative Produkte (Baguettes und Croissant werden täglich vom Bäcker persönlich geliefert). Und es gibt sogar ein Pool um sich zu erfrischen! Wir werden definitiv zurückkommen und länger bleiben!!!

| We hebben samen met onze petekinderen van 10 en 13 genoten van ons verblijf eind april 2016. Hartelijk ontvangen, zeer mooie kamers, geweldig bed, zeer mooie ruime badkamer. Chapeau is zeer sfeervol. Ontbijt is zeer gevarieerd, zeker voor Franse begrip. Service en gastvrijheid is top! Een echte aanrader!
