“Calme, charme et tranquillité”
| Nous avons séjourné au château de Launay pour la deuxième fois hier soir. Que dire... L'accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux, le cadre enchanteur avec les premières douceurs du printemps... Chambres décorées avec goût ; un mélange de moderne/ancien qui crée une atmosphère très élégante. Mark est adorable, il est aux petits soins et à l'écoute de chacune de nos demandes tout en respectant notre intimité et en sachant se montrer discret. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner que nous avons chaque fois trouvé FA-BU-LEUX ! Petit clin d'oeil à Oscar, le titi de la maison. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

| + Tout était étonnamment parfait: le cadre, la déco, la paisibilité de la demeure, l'avenance des hôtes et surtout le petit-déjeuner (valant à lui seul le prix du séjour). Je ne manquerai pas d'y retourner à l'occasion et je remercie Mark & Valérie pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité! Everything was awesome: the decoration, the peacefulness of the place, the sympathy of the hosts & least but not last, the breakfast. I am definitely going back! Stay here if you want peace and quiet.
| + Wonderful, historic mansion updated for guest comfort. Valerie and Mark offer a very warm and attentive welcome and stay....and then there is Oscar - what a lovely dog! The quiet and comfort were welcome. Breakfast was also very, very good.

| + In oktober 2016 verbleven we in chateau de launay. we hadden een mooie, ruime kamer met ruime douche en toilet. het ontbijt was uitgebreid en van prima kwaliteit. onze gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam, bijkomend voordeel is dat hij nederlands spreekt.

Lovely, peaceful, ambient and comfortable place to stay
| + Gorgeous old place with good facilities in a lovely setting, although you do need a car. Quiet and peaceful with lovely spacious room and good shower. Breakfast was ample and provided in a lovely dining room. The heated swimming pool was a bonus that was enjoyed. The owners were welcoming and friendly without being obtrusive.

Lovely Chateau in a quiet setting.
| + Perfect for exploring Pays D'Auge area, so much to see and do with very pretty countryside. Elegant comfortable room, bathroom is beautiful with an enormous shower. Kettle and tea with beautiful old teacups in the room which is very unusual in France. Owner speaks English and was very helpful we had excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast very good; continental french with beautiful breads plus eggs and bacon. Oscar the dog is very friendly . There is no light pollution; at night the stars are amazing.

| + Deze zomer 1 week verbleven bij Mark en Valerie. Het was een prachtige week. Chateau ligt op een rustige plek, mooie omgeving. Er is een mooie tuin waar je kunt relaxen en heerlijk zwemmen in het zwembad. Ook mochten we gebruik maken van de barbeque. Bedankt voor de service! Chambre Jaune en chambre Aubergine beiden mooie kamers. Iedere ochtend genoten van een heerlijk ontbijt. Uitstekende service, echt een aanrader!

“PARFAIT week end du 13 au 15 Aout”
| Agreable séjour au Chateau de Launay chez Mark et Valérie. Nous avons été accueilli par Mark et son grand sourire et le chien Oscar qui ne faut pas oublier. Endroit tres calme, proche de beaucoup de lieux a visité, belle petite piscine et terrasse, chambre superbement bien décoré. Proprietaire qui partage les bonnes adresses... Merci pour l'adresse du cidre c'était trop cool. Vraiment génial on reviendra très vite c'est plus que sûr une telle adresse se garde. Bonne continuation à vous 3 et à bientôt.

“A lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful countryside”
| + Sadly we only stayed here for one night, but could easily have stayed much longer. It was so nice to be greeted by Mark, the owner, as well as by Oscar his butter-loving Labrador. We were shown to our room, which was airy and immaculate, as was the modern bathroom. A lot of care had obviously been taken to see that the décor was all in keeping with the house itself and it was good to see all the little touches - 2 bottles of water, and a full tea-making tray. The bed was very comfortable and we spent a good, if too short, night. Mark had asked us what time we wanted breakfast, and as we were at a wedding and had no idea how long we would be staying at the reception, we rashly said 9 am. Luckily, he saw through our optimism and we came down at 10 and were by no means the last to arrive. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread and croissants, cold meat and cheese, as well as cereals and yoghurt and fruit juice. We could have also had eggs had we wanted. All in all, a very pleasant stay, if too short, and I would recommend the Chateau de Launay with no reservations. Room Tip: Any of the rooms would be a good choice. Ours faced out over the entrance.
